There is not a injection but there is some "drops" which you apply to the dogs skin that will kill all fleas and ticks for 2 months. The treatment is very popular and is known as Frontline spot on. Your Vet will supply this treatment and some major pet stores also supply this treatment. However if fleas have infested your house you will need to follow necessary household treatments to remove the fleas.
