The best advice I can give you is to seek help from a professional. Although we are all aware of our different moods, i.e. happy, sad, etc. depression is something that needs to be diagnosed and treated, either with psychotherapy or medication depending on what the therapist decides the cause of your depression is. They will look for certain signs or symptoms of depression such as severe sadness, a feeling of hopelessness or hopelessness, sleep disturbances, eating disturbances, an inability to gain pleasure from things that used to make you happy or even suicidal thoughts. If you feel as though these symptoms closely resemble how you're feeling then depression might be the cause.
