None have been found yet. That does not mean there are none.
Think of it this way, there are as many as 500 billion galaxies in the universe, and(based on our average) there are around 300 billion stars in every galaxy. If one out of a million of those had planets, and one out of a million of those had planets in the "habitable zone", and one out of a million of those actually had life, and one out of a million of those had intelligent life, then there would be millions-hundreds of thousands of planets like Earth.
If we were the only one,(pardon the pun) it would be an awful waste of space.
Yes. There is life on some planet besides earth. There are billions of stars in the universe. Most of them are smaller than the sun and many have been burning longer. Most of them have planets. Probably many are in orbits where life is possible. Many of those have conditions where life is possible. Life would have had the opportunity to evolve on a number of them. We have no idea where it actually did or what type of life evolved. We have no idea if intelligent life exists. We have no idea if space people visit the earth in flying saucers.
Given that there isn't a found end to space or what is after it, there is a high chance that there are other suns in other galaxies and the freak chance of our earth being created and worm like creature fossils found on mars the chances of more habitable words are most likely but none yet found. Hope this helps.
Yes, but they are many light years away.
Comment: I'm not sure they have done this yet, but it's a fast moving area of research. It depends exactly what you mean by "similar". For example in our Solar System you could say Venus is similar to Earth, but also it's very different.
No. Not at all. All the planets are different, and so far, none have been deemed suitable for life as we know it. Most scientists agree that Mars had water on it a long time ago, and there is even some evidence from a meteorite that fell to Earth from Mars that it may have once had life on it like Earth in its early days. But, it is mostly thought to be devoid of life.
To my knowledge there is no other planet in our solar system with oceans, but two of Jupiter's moons, Callisto and Europa, have liquid water oceans under a few meters of ice.
Scientists say that its Venus because they are close together in space and they are the similar size, but that's about it.
most likely.
The is life in the universe. If your question is, "Is there sentient life in the universe?" many scientists believe there is, but they have not found any proof, yet.
The planet that most resembles Earth in many factors is Mars. However, no planet most resembles the Earth in all factors.
The only planet that can't be seen from earth is earth itself. Other than earth itself other planet can be seen, however sometimes it might requires use of high technology!
You can only survive on Earth but no other planet.
Pluto was re-classified as a dwarf planet in 2006 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). A new definition for a planet was established, Pluto did not fit the new criteria, so was deemed a dwarf planet. Like Earth and the other planets, it is known to be spherical in shape and is in direct orbit the, but unlike the Earth and other planets, it does not `dominate` its orbit. That is to say that there are a high number of other bodies at the same orbital distance.
Pluto. It is the 9th planet from the sun and it is very different then Earth in size and temperature
Uranus. (Earth is not like that.)
Earth is a planet because it makes its eay around the sun just like all the other ones do. It is a planet because it is in line with all the other planets. I hope this helped(:
the answer is no bacause no other planet has trees and trees help you breath
Not that we know of but there may be one.
No, except mars
Not that we know of but there may be one.
Mars. The only other planet with life and possibly creating us and earth,by the well known life source, Aliens By:Donny Heitler
well we don't actually know there could be a planet like earth that hasn't been discovered yet so their might Be
.How do you know that earth isn't the other planet?
Other planets do have oxygen, but not in as high of concentration as we have here on Earth.
The Earth Like Planet that was newly discovered in another solar system (no i am not lying they did find a new earth-like planets
Many other planets have the ozone layer but does it protect the planet like it protects earth. I don't know so somebody please answer my questi
