Yes- postcards are definitely collectible- most have no great value, but individual cards sell on eBay for 50 cents to a dollar and sometimes more.
I have a large collection of WW1 postcards from France. How do I find their value?
Without seeing them I would guess about $5 each.
$50 to a collector
No, the last war in Germany was World War 2
Japan emerged as a world power, but Germany was weak and humiliated
Germany was left banrupt after world war two
No. Germany lost World War I.
Germany was in WW I and WW II.
The war didn't really relieve Germany of the Depression. Germany's economy was becoming stronger under Hitler's control. World War II did help raise Germany's economy by forcing all production factories to produce for the war effort. This created many more jobs and raised the value of the country overall.
Both world wars had Germany on one side and Britain, France, the United States, Russia, and China on the other. Differences include the fact that the Russia of World War I was the imperial Russian Empire while the Russia of World War II was the communist Soviet Union. Countries that changed sides include Turkey (for Germany in World War I, neutral in World War II), the Austro-Hungarian Empire (for Germany in World War I, no longer existed by the time of World War II), Italy (against Germany in World War I, for Germany in World War II), and Japan (against Germany in World War I, for Germany in World War II).
just check ebay, some good quality ones. i.e with good postmarks and significant dates etc can go for over £30.
No. World War 2 was started by Germany, but World War 1 was started by internal strife in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. After war was declared, Germany and Turkey sided with Austria.
