Female cats go into heat at the end of their estrus cycle (the feline equivalent of a human female menstrual cycle). When a female cat is spayed they undergo a hysterectomy essentially where the uterus is removed. So to answer the question, no, the only way to stop a female cat from going into heat is to have her spayed.

∙ 14y agoIf its a concerning problem then the cat should be well groomed at least. Continue spraying as well. If its becoming a large problem to his/her health then you must fix up a colder house envionment. (close shades, get an AC, or just fans.)

∙ 11y agoA spayed cat has had her uterus removed, therefore she shouldn't be going into heat. However if the cat is unspayed there is no way save for getting her spayed to stop a cat from going into heat.
