Can there be more than one god?

No, there's not more than one way to God. John 14:6 says " I'm the way, the truth, and the life .No one comes to the father except through me." which means that if you want to go to heaven you have to believe in jesus and accept him in your heart as your saviour.

Monotheist Answer

God cannot be more than one. God is only one. If God is everywhere, how can there be space for more than one!? So there has to be one?

Polytheist Answer

Polytheists do not worship an all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing God. They worship Spirits or Gods of power greater than any individual man or woman, but are partial to various facets of the human condition. One God can be the master of love, another the seed of revenge, still another the vanguard of the seasons and so forth. There is no reason, other than faith in the validity of scripture or atheist scientific reasoning, to deny that these views have the same weight as the monotheist views. Polytheism also explains the problem of theodicy (why is there evil in the world) a lot more clearly than monotheism can since evil can just be one god attacking another god. Perhaps some gods are by nature evil, like Seth or Hades, etc.
