It is true that Adolf Hitler believed that the welfare and power Germany was more important than personal freedoms. When he became dictator he took away peoples freedoms and imprisoned anyone who spoke against him. He did however pull Germany out of it's economic crisis and created a strong, powerful country.

Hitler didn't give a monkey's about personal freedom. It didn't figure anywhere in his thinking. Welfare was not a priority, either. He wanted society to correspond as closely as possible to military values and have a military-type command structure, with the supremo barking out orders that were relayed down the command structure.
