In general, it has been depicted as a series for girls as it is a romantic teen series about vampires. But they are very good books, and depending on the person, certain guys might also find them enjoyable, just like certain girls might not. It all depends.

"Twilight" is often categorized as young adult fiction. While it has elements of romance and fantasy which may appeal more to a female audience, it is not exclusively a "girly book" and can be enjoyed by readers of any gender.

∙ 14y agoIt would dpend on the boy himself. If he prefers to read rather "girly" novels than yes. However, if he likes to read more "manly" novels than he should not even think about reading any of the twilight books.

∙ 12y agoI suppose I would say It's a love story mostly but there is some action and stuff. And then of course they'res the whole Vampires and Werewolves thing. Most people have a preconceived notion that is a "girly" book so some, mostly guy's probably, will not ever read it. Although i know quite a few guy's, who are not gay, that have read and really enjoy the Twilight series. So if you into fantasy, love story's, or fantasy actions you should at least start reading this book and then decide what you think of it. Like they say, "don't judge a book by it's cover". At least take the chance cause you never know if you'll hate it, or it will become one of your favorite books :)
i myself have not read twilight, but my mother has, and she loved it. there is a lot of action in the book(s), but they also contain romance, so i think that the twilight book(s) are actually bi-sexual. 8P
