Best Answer

"Better" depends on subject.

WiFi is definitely better in terms of mobility. One is not restricted to the confines of the area that and ethernet cable can reach.

On the other hand, wired can give much better speed and dependability than wireless. It also provides better security.

Wired connection with wireless router provides the best connection with the most options for the future. That choice still allows the ability to have a laptop or anything else connected wirelessly. There are times when a wired connection is not practical. HDTVs, Photo frames, laptops, DVDs and Blu-Ray disc players are just some of the items that are now being equipped for WiFi. Most Wireless routers are designed to include connections for ethernet cables in addition to WiFi.

If you have wired internet does that mean you have wifi?

As with so many questions here, the first word of the answer could be "Depends". In this case it depends on what you mean by "wired". If the wire you refer to is the one that comes into the house from the street, you could have a WiFi router attached to that wire so that you could use WiFi enabled PCs in any room of the house. If "wired" means that the router is connected to your PC with a Cat5 cable, or wire, then no you are not using WiFi. The PC could still be WiFi enabled but with no WiFi connection to the router you can't use the facility.

Does Tokyo Disney resort have wifi?

In the theme parks or the hotels? No - there is no public wifi in the theme parks, but it is available in parts of Tokyo, but you have to pay for up front. In general wifi itself is not as common there as other places. Most of the hotels offer wired service only -- and it's a charge. Of the official resort hotels (non-Disney branded) the Sheraton is $$ wired, but they have wifi available at one section in the lobby only. Hilton is charge I believe, but Maihama Hotel is free wired.

What is 4 Port WiFi?

A 4-port WiFi router is just a router that has four WIRED ethernet ports in addition to its WIRELESS 802.11 interface. This would allow you to share a single WIRED internet connection between 4 computers using ethernet cables, in addition to many other computers using the WiFi interface and no cables.
