Translucent.
Toughened glass is transparent. It is translucent if frosted. To be opaque, it would need to be covered with something that won't let light through.
Opaque- Wood, metal, brick, anything that you can't see through. Translucent- Computer paper, frosted glass, some types of plastic, anything that let's a little light through. Transparent- Glass window, anything that let's alot of light through.
It means that light can pass through, but not in an orderly enough form to be transparent. An example would be the frosted glass in a bathroom window or a shower door.
Transparency is defined as a quality an object has that allows light to pass through it and any objects on the opposite side can clearly be seen through through the transparent object. Translucent objects still allow light to pass through them, but the objects on the opposite side are not clearly visible. It could be likened to two pieces of glass. One is from a window and the other is frosted. The one piece from the window is transparent, and the frosted piece is translucent
An ordinary clear window pane is transparent. If it's "frosted" glass, it is translucent.
