Ive been having really freaky and sometimes scary dreams but i have recently been forced to move from my hometown and I do miss my friends and family is this influencing my dreams?

This is from my opinion only, but I really think that your current emotions are affecting your dreams.because from my experience, when I'm angry, I dream of violent dreams and when I'm sad, everything that I dream of makes me cry after I wake up.
