The metal tip on the end of your boots is for protection. You shift just the same as wearing any other shoe, on the upper part of foot. Most boots have some type of an injection molded shift protector on top of the boot.
You do not shift a car in GTA 4, since all cars in the game are automatic.
the gear shift might just go inside the tranny and shift the gears internally.
yes just dont split the top gears
Need more information. Namely, what the truck and transmission is, and whether it's a transmission fault, or you just not knowing how to shift it.
This is normal in a sequential transmission motorcycles use. The transmission needs a source of power to move the gears in place, if you shift more than one or two gears down, you will have to disengage the clutch to continue shifting down. You should plan your stops accordingly and shift down while stopping so that you can shift to first just about when you are rolling to a stop.
Depends on if it's twist shift or trigger shift. With twist shif, if you're pedalling just right, maybe 1/2 second to go from one end to the other. Trigger shift, maybe one second.
It's the way the gears are made they are side by side and interlocking and people gas them in 1st and shift fast into second or shift without a clutch they get worn on the sides and end up not working at all, I just took mine apart and had the mechanic explain it and in a nut shell that is he told me, that and the metal is not forged
You will need to press the little button on the left of your shift stick. Its located just under the big button that you use to shift from Park to other gears.
If the clutch fluid reservoir is just low, no. If the clutch fluid reservoir is empty, yes.
* YES * just make sure the resulting RPM from the down-shift doesn't exceed what you'd normally up-shift at.
My check engine light came on in my 2000 Ford zx2...It gave that code and said shift solenoid A. I did a little research and found out shift solenoids are only in automatic transmissions. They're like a chip that tells the transmission when to shift gears. So if your car is hesitating between gears, the solenoid may need replaced or there could just be a problem with one of the wires.
try to make sure the clutch pedal is all the way down before you change gear. in no way shape or form should you have to floor the clutch everytime you shift gears, however, if you are still grinding gears while flooring the clutch, and if there isn't that little bit of give on the pedal i'd suggest adjusting or replacing the clutch.
