make sure you take plug out clean well with carb and choke cleaner and brush then blow it out w/ air hose. put the plug back in if all your jet settings are good on the carb (you can find them online and set to stock if not) then just turn your gas on and pull your choke up lean the bike sideways and hold it there until you see some gas come out the overflow tubes then set the bike up and kick but do not give it any gas till she starts.

What is the spark plug gap for a 2006 yamaha ttr 125?

Your 2004 rm 125 fouled a plug. Once changed ran well then it died. Put a new spark plug in and it wont start at all. why?

I'm assuming you have enough of the correct fuel, it is filling the carburretor and fuel is being drawn into the cylinder. Plugs foul because there is the wrong air/fuel mix, the plug gap is wrong, the timing is wrong (plug runs too cool) or you are burning oil excessively. Your symptoms point toward the contact breaker, it determines when and how long the plug fires. Check there is a strong spark at the end of the plug wire. If there is check the timing. If not check the contact breaker.

What spark plug goes in a 1998 Suzuki rm 125?

It appears to be NGK r6918b-8. Doing a little searching I found the spark plug above listed as: "NGK special spark plug for (1996-2000) RM 125." This same spark plug is listed in the 2003 RM 125 Service Manual as the correct spark plug for that engine.

If my '69 125 Cub is getting fuel spark and turns over why won't it start?

"Getting" is not always the answer. "When you get it" can also be an issue. Fuel, of course can come anytime with the intake stroke, however timing of the spark is major important. You already understand engines or you would not be asking this question... but check the timing. For a beginning point go to tdc and mark the flywheel with a chalk reference point. You can tell tdc if you remove the spark plug and stick a wooden rod (pencil) into the hole. You can feel for top dead center of the stroke. Your mark on the flywheel should sync with the spark to the plug. While the spark plug is out, check to see if you have compression. You also can check to see if the exhaust valve are opening. If you have the three elements, spark, fuel and compression, the only thing left is timing. Also, slim chance but the spark may not be strong enough... maybe not enough fuel, maybe not enough compression.... have fun, it is just another adventure. Fuel, spark, compression and timing are the elements of a running engine. You can check for compression and timing as described above. Apparently you know you have fuel and spark, but is the spark getting through to the fuel? Although you may be getting spark, the spark plug may be fouled or bad and the spark is not passing through it. Remove the spark plug and check for spark by inserting it into the plug wire and holding the end of the plug 1/4 inch from the engine. If you still get spark the plug is good, if not, then replace the spark plug,
