Your question confuses energy and power and, therefore, doesn't really make any sense!
A kilowatt hour is used to measure energy, and the kilowatt is used to measure power. These are two different quantities, so you cannot convert one into the other. However, you could determine how many kilowatt hours of energy has been consumed over a specific period of time, if you know the rate of consumption (i.e. the power).
A kilowatt is the rate of consuming energy, while the kilowatt hour is the amount of energy consumed.
Incidentally, the kilowatt hour is not the SI unit for energy. The SI unit is the joule.
The lower-case letter, "k", is an abbreviation for 'kilo, which the a prefix meaning 1,000. So, if W is watts, then kW is 1,000 watts. Therefore, 5kW is 5,000 watts.
The 'W' for 'watts' is capitalized because Watt is a person's name. Same with Volt (Volta), Hz from Hertz, Bel from Bell (we are most familiar with a unit of 1/10th of a Bel, or deciBel . . . dB.
The prefix kilo means 10^3 times the units given. So 5.9 kilowatts would be 5900 watts.
