somewhat confirmed by the team. they haven't started on it yet because they are working on FF. but you can expect 2 games before 3. KH3d (3ds) and Kingdom hearts birth by sleep part 2 (possibly for the vita)

∙ 13y agoDuring an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, (Director, Designer of Kingdom Hearts) it was said that there will be upcoming titles after Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. 'Kingdom Hearts 3' was never mentioned in specific, but Nomura did state that Sora will be returning, which forces us to believe that the new Kingdom Hearts title will start off where we left off in Kingdom Hearts II. Kingdom Hearts 3 is not an official title, but it is bound to happen. We just have to wait and find out.
