The right side of Periodic Table has non metals and noble elements. Non metals gain electrons. Noble elements are inert in nature.

In the right side of the periodic table, there are the p block elements. The p block contains non metals. It has elements of solid, gas and liquid states.

The rightmost elements are the noble gases, group 18. Next in the right are the non metals. Group 17 elements are also known as halogens (salt makers).
