Oderint Dum Metuant- Let them hate so long as they fear. Said by Lucuis Accius. (Roman Tragic poet, 170-86 BC)
Hate often stems from negative emotions, experiences, or beliefs, so there is usually a reason behind it, whether conscious or subconscious. It can be fueled by factors such as fear, ignorance, insecurity, or past traumas. However, hate can also be irrational and unfounded, manifesting without a clear or logical reason.
I can only speak for the black American in saying that racism has and still is being taught; even on subliminal/subconscious levels through the media and American culture. I believe that black people are hated by so many because of fear. Hate and fear are typical byproducts of ignorance.
Answer 1There is no official medically recognised phobia of jail. However there are similar phobias:Cleithrophobia - Fear of being locked in a small, enclosed spaceClaustrophobia - Fear of small, enclosed spacesIsolophobia - Fear of being isolatedMonophobia - Fear of being aloneDikephobia - Fear of justice._________________________________________________Answer 2There is no official phobia. But the root of the word is in latin, so the translation could be, if the phobia was officially recognised, 'carcerephobia' as 'carcere' is jail and 'phobia' is fear.
Fear and panic are related emotions but not the same. Fear is a normal emotional response to a perceived threat, while panic is an intense, overwhelming feeling of fear that can lead to irrational behavior. Panic is typically more intense and can be triggered by the fear of losing control or the fear of fear itself.
No - strong emotions like hate usually die away after awhile unless you keep dwelling on them. The best way to get over strong dislike is to either avoid the other person or to try to see things from their side. If you understand why they do the things they do, you won't hate them so much.
Let them HATE, so long as they FEAR
Oderint dum metuant (let them hate, so long as they fear). Traditionally this is supposed to have been a favourite saying of Caligula, though he was probably quoting it from the early Latin tragedian Lucius Accius.
"Let Them Hate, So Long As They Fear" This is a Latin saying of Caligula, attributed originally to Lucius Accius, a Roman tragic poet.
The quote has been attributed both to the Emperor Tiberius (who, before he became Emperor, was a general renowned both for his strictness and his capability, who said of his men 'let them fear me as long as they obey me) and the Emperor Caligula, who certainly seems to have lived his life according to this dictum.
Usually hate is born of fear. The question might better be asked, "Why do some people fear Barack Obama?" There are probably as many answers to why that is as there are people who say they hate him, so we can not really give any concrete answers to the question.
So long your mother would hate you.
Let's see. 6 billion people in the world. So not less than 3 billion hate groups.
Well Pupaphobia is the fear of phobias, so let's just call it Mupaphobia.
It's a vicious circle: Ignorance leads to Fear, which leads to Hatred, which leads to Ignorance. That's why it's so important for us to come out. When you know someone who's gay, lesbian or bisexual, you're not so ignorant. And it's harder to fear or hate someone you know, especially if they're a friend.
she HATES vampires.........so do i ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NO Demi doesn't hate vampires. She even said she would want to be a vampire so I do not think she fears vampires
You shouldn't hate people. It will hurt you more in the long run to hate instead of loving your fellow human beings.
People are not nice, so I hate them. People are not interesting, so I hate them. Music is boring, so I hate it. TV programming sucks, so I hate it. Games are not fun, so I hate them. I am not intelligent enough, so I hate me. The world is hard, so I hate it. In short, this is why I hate everything.
