In a 1997 Lincoln Continental : To the right of your headlight switch in the dash is a ( panel dim ) switch I believe if that is turned all the way up then the interior lights will come on
change light switch
cluster lights dont work also tails ive change the light switch still no lights.
your headlight switch needs to be replaced. My Lincoln had the same problem, it all stems from the auto dimmer feature...replace the headlight switch (mine was 70-100 dollars) and your lights will work fine.
try pushing the headlight switch in......works with 1999 Lincoln Towncar
Make sure you have it out of AUTO LIGHTS ON. Do the lights automatically come on when the car is started? If so, the Auto Lamp switch may be on.
i have a 96 Town car and the high/low beam switch is on turn signal. push signal switch forward for high, back for low.
Start by checking for a bad door switch or headlight switch problem
Bulbs, wiring, fuse, brake light switch.
Turn your low beam headlamps on and then pull out towards you on the headlamp control to turn the fog lights on / push in to turn fog lights off
Try spraying contact cleaner around the emergency light switch. Pres the switch many times to help clean the contacts. That often gets my brake lights working. Hello: I own a 2001 Lincoln town car had the same problem its a quick and easy fix, all you have to do is replace the Turn Signal switch on your steering wheel.
If you mean the switch that puts the brake lights on and off when you step on the brake pedal then it's located where the brake pedal is, can't miss it.
