On my 1986, it's located near the driver side shock tower. Hopefully, it's the same for a 1985. If so, you should see a cover that slides off revealing several relays. I don't remember exactly which one is the fuel relay though. If you turn on the key, without trying to start the vehicle, and have someone else feel or listen for a click, you should be able to find out which relay it is, provided that it is working. You can also test a Bosch relay by removing it and applying power to the coil (85 & 86) and metering the output terminals (30 is the common, 87a is normally closed when relay is at rest, and 87 is normally open) with a continuity tester. Basically, the coil (85 & 86) operates when voltage, in this case power when the key is turned on, switching the output legs (from 87a to 87, with 30 being common) of the relay. What this all means is that applying power to the coil switches the load connected to 87a & 30 to 87 & 30. Most likely there is nothing on 87a to begin with, but testing across 30 & 87 with the coil energized should indicate continuity. Hope this helps.
disconnect both battery terminals, then reconnect. This will reset onboard computer. battery must be charged to 12 volts or better
There is a relay box between your main fuse box and the air box. Little black number with 3 relays in it. In there is the wiper relay, main relay and the fuel pump relay. The main relay has a large red wire and should be closest to the front of the car. The fuel pump relay should be the middle one.
Mine is under, and behind the Radio. There are Four Relays in a row, and the Fuel Pump Relay, is the last one on the Right.
