The supercontinent was called Pangea.
Pagaea split so it created 2 smaller super continents called Gondwanaland and Laurasia.

The last supercontinent was called Pangea.
I believe its called Pangaea Ultima.
It was not. Gondwana was a super continent comprised of Africa, Australia, Antarctica, India, Madagascar, South America, and Sri Lanka. Scientists now believe that more supercontinents existed even before Pangaea. One of them is called Rodinia. Before Rodinia, there was one called Nuna.
It is accepted by most scientists that there was a supercontinent called Pangaea.
Pangaea, (or Pangæa, or Pangea) was the single supercontinent that existed between 200 and 300 million years ago. There were others at earlier times.

Many million years ago, the huge supercontinent theory was proposed by one man named Alfred Wegner. He explained the theory of continental drift which lead to the supercontinent called Pangea. Another man named John Tuzo Wilson proposed to theory of plate tectonics which helped scientists to believe Wegner's ideas. Together Wilson and Wegner proposed Pangea. Later on, it was split into two other smaller continents called Laurasia and Gondwanaland.
The supercontinent that existed several million years ago is called Pangea. It combined all of today's continents into one supercontinent, mostly in the Southern Hemisphere. It was surrounded by a super ocean, Panthalassa, and started to break up 175 million years ago.
It's called the Continental Drift but scientists changed it to Plate Tectonics in 1960.
