the most common ways to test for marijuana in your system are:
1) urinalysis. the most common type of THC testing. you pee in a cup, put the top on and your done.
the cup is analyzed on location with an instant test and or sent to a lab for a more precise and accurate result. marijuana stays in your system, detectible to urinalysis for up to 30 days. either a positive or negative test may be used, or a quantitative test may be used. positive/negative only tells weather THC is in the system or not. quantitative tests tell the level of THC also.
2) hair sample. someone pulls a few hairs out of your head and mails them off to a labritory.
when you hear this, get nervous. or don't. but i would. hair samples are bad news since washing, bleaching, or cutting your hair dosent effect the results. hair samples can tell alot about drug use, detecting THC up to or a little over 3 months i believe. this method can not only detect what drugs have been used but also the amount of the drug used, telling if you are a light user or medium or a frequent user.
i believe blood tests and saliva tests are possible also, but far less common than the typical "piss test" used by most home testers, police officers, probation officers, rehab officials, and employers.
There are several tests to detect marijuana usage. The most common is a quick-test in which urine is sampled for three or four illicit substances. Other more involved tests on urine, blood and hair strands can be done to determine use of most any drug.
Urine analysis can determine marijuana use. Also testing one's hair can detect marijuana use.
