lightning is actually not matter, but energy. made of static electricity and electrons Lightning is in fact the light/energy given off by air which has been turned into plasma (the fourth state of matter, a cloud of ions and electrons) as it cools back to normal temperature.
Any gas, liquid or solid can exist in all states of matter.
Superfluidity
An aloy is an example of a homogenous (metallic) solid mixture.
Solids are the only phase of matter which have a fixed shape and volume.
The three forms of matter are solid, liquid, and gas. Solids have a definite shape and volume, liquids have a definite volume but take the shape of their container, and gases have neither a definite shape nor volume.
Any gas, liquid or solid can exist in all states of matter.
Solid matter turns into a liquid when it melts.
Superfluidity
solid and liquid because gas doesn't take up space it just floats away

Particulates are tiny subdivisions of solid matter suspended in a gas or liquid. Sources of particulate matter can be man made or natural like Air pollution and water pollution can take the form of solid particulate matter. Particulates is a complex mixture of extremely small particles and liquid droplets.
Ice is water in its solid form. When it melts, it is water in its liquid form. Most forms of matter take on either the solid, liquid, gas or plasma state depending on pressure and temperature.
a liquid... i think
the 3 states matter can take; For instance, H2O:as a liquid: wateras a gas: steamas a solid: ice
Liquid matter typically takes up more space than solid matter because the particles in a liquid are not as closely packed together as in a solid. This is why liquids have a fixed volume but can take the shape of their container.
It doesn't take long at all. It just depends on how quickly you can add heat to the matter. In a pot on the stove, you can easily change solid ice to liquid water, and the liquid water to gaseous steam, in a few minutes.
