My 99 Chevy s10 pick up died while i was driving I put more gas in it my battery works it turns over but just won't start What do I do?

Could be many things but the first one that comes to my mind is a fuel pump gone bad, not uncommon for GM.

If it turns over very slowly, check for bad battery and ground connections. It should turn over quickly if you jump start it. If it doesn't, the battery connections are bad and/ or the battery is bad.
