My SD card is plugged into my computer but my files won't open up why?

Perhaps you have the new High Density SD card (it will say HD on it if so)
A LOT of old card readers cant read that type of card.
Best solution is to buy a new card reader or alternativly use the camera cable.. (assuming its a camera). Another solution is to reinstall the car reader software or to download Gpartet and reformat the Sd card.
