That is a considerable fever - for a human. In itself not a dangerous temperature, but a doctor will want to know why you have such a high temperature. Is it a relatively innocent influenza or viral sore throat, or could you have a rarer but more serious diseases such as pneumonia, pyelonephritis, or even meningitis? If such a temperature lasts more than a day or two, or if you feel very ill with it, see a doctor.

If it is Celsius then your baby has about 3 degrees of fever and may possibly need a fever reducing medication. It it is Fahrenheit and your baby is still alive then you probably have a bad thermometer.
