Usually, this indicates a "loose connection" somewhere within that circuit.
That could include a connector plug which has worked loose, or in which the metal contacts are making intermittent contact.
Or it could be a wire, or an "etch" conductor on a circuit board which has been cut or broken, but which makes contact only part of the time due to vibrations from irregularities of the road surface on which you are driving.

The brakes are the primary cause of stopping a car whilst driving.
If this occurs under heavy braking (i.e. ABS has kicked in), then the hazard lights will start flashing. They will turn themselves off after a few seconds of normal driving. If it occurs whilst generally driving along, it could be a bad connection in the hazard light switch, or something more technical inside the car itself.

If your full beam doesn't stay on, make sure your light switch on the console is actually turned to "on". Unless you've had the daytime running lights disabled, then the lights will be on when switched "off" (!) and this means the full beam doesn't lock on, it only does "flash" mode. When the lights are switched "on", then the full beam should stay on.
