1- the light switch, or 2- the wiring on the plug to the light switch from the car, or 3- a blown fuse
Check to see if the parking/tailights are working Could be a bad fuse, or switch Could be an open in the dimmer rheostat
Check to see if parking and tailights are working - same circuit could be a blown fuse
Check to see if the parking lights and tailights are working - if not may be a fuse (same circuit)
If parking and tailights are working could be headlight switch--rheostat for dimming control could be bad
If parking and tailights are not working check the fuse If they are working: Bulbs burned out? Dimmer rheostat has an open (switch)
Check to see if parking and tailights are working - should be the same circuit - check fuses May be the dimmer rheostat needs replacement
Check the dimmer control Check to see if parking /tailights are working - if not check fuse May be defective switch
Check to see if the parking/tailights are working - should be the same circuit - check fuses Could be a defective dimmer rheostat Could be a bad light switch
Tail-lights and dashboard lights are on the same switch on the dashboard and on the same fuse. Check the fuse and if that's not it check the switch. Check the fuse underneath the hood. There are some main fuses underneath the hood. I had the same problem on my Chevy P-U when I lowered my boat into the lake, it blew the fuse underneath the hood and I had no tail or dash lights.
check fuse 4 or 5 under the hood, i can almost promise its blown, i had the same problem. my plate lights, tailights and dash lights didnt work.
I am having this same problem. The lights for the license plate don't work either. I have had two mechanics suggest to me that I replace the HeadLight Switch. I am thinking about ordering one on Monday.
Bulbs burned out? Dimming rheostat is open? Bad headlight switch? Make sure parking and tailights are working (same circuit)
