A coastal road cut into the face of a cliff is a roadway that has been engineered to follow the contour of a coastal cliff, often providing stunning views of the ocean. These roads are typically constructed by excavating the rock face and stabilizing the surrounding area to ensure safety and prevent erosion. Such roads can enhance accessibility to coastal areas but also pose challenges, including potential landslides and environmental impact. Proper engineering and maintenance are crucial to ensure their safety and longevity.

Road Runner
He died on 27th September 1986- he was killed when Metallica's tour bus crashed during the second leg of their Damage Inc.tour in Southern Sweden. They were travelling through Sweden's Ljungby Municipality near the town of Dorap, when the bus skidded late at night and ended up on it's side on a grass verge. Burton was lying in his bunk at the time- he was thrown through the window and the vehicle landed on top of him, crushing him instantly. He was 24 years old. The cause of the accident was never established- it was initially put down to black ice on the road, though some people suspected that the bus driver may have been drunk. Cliff Burton's body was flown back to the USA, and he was buried in San Francisco.
