I know a lot of people think in England we still dress in suits and big dresses, but that was back in the Edwardian times about 100 years ago. Now we dress like all the other countries, jeans and t-shirts are the norm. My father went to America and they were expecting him to be dressed like the men in those period dramas they saw on TV. People don't seem to realise them sort of programs are set in the early 1900's.
