∙ 15y agoPlasma is the solution in which red blood cells and white blood cells are suspended in. RBCs transport oxygen and carbon dioxide around the body; white blood cells fight off pathogens by secreting antibodies. Platelets arer also found - they help blood to clot if there is a wound.

Plasma is the fluid matrix in which RBCs, WBCs and platelets are suspended. plasma is dead and most of the useful substances like protein, fats etc. are suspended in it. Waste substances like urea etc. are also suspended in it.
