Madagascar
When the continent separated some of the same species ended up on different continents. This is because the continent was so large the species were distributed across the continent. So, when it split, some were on one side and others of the same species were on the other side.
Some guy on crack obviously.
The last super-continent is called Pangaea, which was formed about 245 million years ago. Some believe that Pangaea wasn't the first time all the continents were combined. There is evidence that there was another super-continent way before 245 million years ago that is called Rodinia (which separated for a while, then formed back together to form Pangaea, the latest super-continent).
When German meteorologist Alfred Wegener first published his theory on Pangea (super continent) he was widely ridiculed for it. Some of the reaction to his theory on continental shift and a super continent was actually quite hostile. The idea was first put forward in 1912 but it wasn't until the 1950's that his idea was really rethought. By then evidence of continental drift was starting to support his ideas.
The continents used to all be connected, which means animals were free to roam. If they were free to roam, then they obviously spread out throughout the continent. So when this continent separated, the same species ended up on new continents because they had originally spread out.
Ecologist study population by mark and recaptur tagged and released.
Australia. (not Africa as some mistakenly believe)
Australia
Canada is the largest country in North America. Some classifications combine North America and South America into a single continent, named America.

The continent name is "Europe". The verb used for volcanoes (or some skin conditions) is to "erupt".
Africa is a continent, so to answer this question we need the name of a country in Africa.
If you want to be an ecologist (like me) you should take science courses such as Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Earth and Space Science, Geography: math classes including geometry, algebra, pre-calc., statistics: some technology and engineering classes: government classes such as government and politics, psychology [and others that your school offers]: English courses[that should be required for you]: maybe some physical education courses to keep you motivated if you're the kind of ecologist that will be physically active all day long: and those courses should make you become a successful ecologist. :)
Australia has only 1 country and it is named Australia (the same name as the continent)
