Yerhh i think it shuld be aloud at skewl but if too many ppl r stickin it under desks n stuff then they should still be aloud it but only at break times n lunch times n be told 2 put it in bins or sumat

One of the main reasons gum is not allowed in school is due to it's choking hazard where there are recorded cases of children dying due to accidentally breathing it in. Among other reasons would be damage to property and clothing and how difficult and expensive it is to remove from sidewalks, desks and other property.

The only reason gum should be allowed is the dental benefits, where as you chew, more saliva is generated which protects teeth, however constant chewing can degenerate the jaw bone meaning any long term effects could be lost on the damage that is done: equally gum that contains sugar can also cause tooth decay.

In all and due to the above, these are the reasons why gum should be disallowed as is current practice.

In most places no gum in school, becase a child can choke on the gum, the gum ends up everywhere anyway and a girl would not like it in her hair.

Yes because it helps your teeth grow stronger and keeps your hunger level down and I think teachers should improve their trust with pupils to throw it away and not stick it under the desk!

Not usually. Most kids simply cannot be trusted to dispose of it properly.

On top of the fact they generally make distracting noises with it while chewing.
