Starting at week 5 the fetal heart will accelerate at a rate of 3.3 beats per day for the next month.
The fetal heart begins to beat at approximately the same rate as the mothers, which is 80 to 85 bpm. Below illustrates the approximate fetal heart rate for weeks 5 to 9, assuming a starting rate of 80
Week 5 starts at 80 and ends at 103 bpm
Week 6 starts at 103 and ends at 126 bpm
Week 7 starts at 126 and ends at 149 bpm
Week 8 starts at 149 and ends at 172 bpm
At week 9 the fetal heartbeat tends to beat within a range of 155 to 195 bpm.
The fetal heart rate will begin to decrease and generally will fall within the range of 120 to 160 bpm by week 12.

Hello,
At 6 weeks, 3 days my baby had a heartbeat of 126 bpm. The doctor said that was normal and healthy. I wish you all the best with your pregnancy.
Although the heart is beating, it is unusual to actually detect it this early. 8 weeks is a more common time for it to be detected, depending on your doctor's equipment.
With my first child I was 7w3d when I had my first u/s. My second child I was 9 weeks. This coming Monday I will have an u/s @ 6w6d and hope to see a heartbeat. I heard from my Ob/Gyn that at 6w1d there should be a heartbeat noticeable on trans. vag. u/s.
Yes but to be sure it worked they wait until they can see the pregnancy so about week 5-6.
Six months into your pregnancy will put you into your 22nd week.
Yes, up to week 9/63 days.
A embryo has a heartbeat around week 5-6 but you can hear it more clearly around week 8.
I'm at 6 week and 4 day, the fetal heartbeat was 114, and my doctor said that normal, so don't worry & get relax.
around week 16-22 (second trimester)
5 week 5 days
I have had a madly itchy scalp for the last 6 weeks and I am up to week 12 week of my pregnancy. I feel like pulling my hair out... I suggest get a pregnancy test quick!
The heartbeat starts when it's a embryo and at week 5-6.
No. 6 weeks at the earliest This answer is inaccurate. The earliest I have heard it picked up is at 5 1/2 weeks. It is very difficult to pick up on a vaginal ultrasound, and may not be an accurate heartbeat rate, but it is possible for a heartbeat to be located and heard earlier than 6 weeks.
