Bhakta Kumar Rai from Nepal spent 32 hours on top of Mount Everest. He reached the top at 5:30am on May 20th 2011 and stayed there till 1pm the next day. In that time he mediated for 27 hours for world peace.

∙ 9y agoTo reach the summit of Mount Everest can take anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks. You have to allow time for your body to acclimatize to the high altitude by climbing high then descending low, then you must wait for the right weather window to allow you to climb to the summit and back safely.
