Good question!
The inventor created Edward to make a "Perfect gentlemen". Edward is created, so he is not human, but he takes the form of one and talks like one.
The inventor I don't believe has a true meaning for making Edward, I think it was just to create a perfect gentlemen and to see if it was possible.
If the inventor wouldn't have died, Edward would have been completed and have a good start in life.
But since he (The inventor) died, Edward is confused and stays at the castle for the rest of his life without real hands.
I hope I could answer your question!
Edward was created by a scientist. The scissor hands were only intended to be temporary, however the scientist died before he could replace the scissors with normal hands. Edward was stuck with the scissors as hands for the rest of his life. Poor Edward
The settings in Edward Scissorhands create a major contrast, the entire movie although over dramatic helps to convey the idea of the director. For example Edwards mansion is dark dreary and not a very welcoming place and this gives us the impression that Edward will be a representation of his mansion, when really he is a kind, caring and very shy young man. The suburban streets are made to look welcoming and candy colored e.t.c when really whats underneath that is lies and deceit.
Edward Thorndike developed many principles of learning, one of which is called readiness. It is the job of the instructor to create a motivation for students to learn particular subject, thereby making them ready to learn.
In New Moon Bella receives a car stereo from Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmett. Edward gives her a CD of songs that he recored on the piano for her, and Alice, Esme, and Carlisle get her and Edward plane tickets to visit Bella's mom, Renee, in Florida.

"Edward Scissorhands" explores themes of isolation, belonging, beauty, and the idea of being an outsider in society. The character of Edward represents innocence and purity, while his scissorhands symbolize his unique ability to create beauty while also causing harm. The contrast between Edward's gentle nature and his dangerous hands highlights the complexities of human nature and the struggle to fit in.
According to historians, nobody knows the first inventor.
An inventor creates things for helpful or unhelpful purposes. An inventor also can create things which are made for neither, which have no purpose, but yet he is the creator of the object.Futhermore, in a philosphical matter, anyone can argue that they are an inventor of something, as we all create new things and ideas.
