no not unless the person who you sent it to sends it back to you
I would hope they wouldn't! If your house is being taken away because you are not paing them back, they are owed the money, not you. A bank would not assist in that theft of money. I would believe that there would be criminal issues involved if you cashed that check anyway. Their name is on the check for a reason, they are protecting their money that is not being paid back.
Depends on where cashed. Not all check cashing places charge the same percentage and banks do it for free if you are an acct holder.
Return it to where you purchased it and ask for their policies or procedures. You may also, if you are the purchaser, be able to deposit it into your bank account by endorsing it with the verbiage, "Not used for intended purposes."
This actually just happened to me recently. Chase will not refund your check unless they get the actual money back from the bank that the check was cashed at. Basically you have to present proof beyond a reasonable doubt that the check that you originally wrote it to is indeed the payee and not the person who stole it. This may include a carbon copy of the check you originally wrote. For my case I had a letter notarized saying the individual who stole my check did not work for the company that I wrote it to and I also presented previous checks written to prove that the check was altered.
You can but make sure it is the correct thing to do. Once cashed it you can never get it back. Depending on your age (over 45) and the policy value, you may get more money by selling it to a life settlement company. You can call 866-670-8189 for more information.
A cashier's check is not a cancelled check unless it has been cashed. A cancelled check is one that has already been cashed. Once you cash a cashier's check, the bank keeps it and you don't get it back. If you write a personal check, once it is cashed, that check will come back to you in your statement as the physical item which will be a cancelled check - or you will get an image of the cancelled check.
When a check is cashed at the bank, there is information the bank prints on the back of the check. The information includes the date and the bank and routing number of where the check was cashed.
write them a check for the amount and they'll cash it and you'll be paid back
Yes, you knew this was money that you had no right to and should have not cashed the check.
Whatever the payee does with the check is immaterial. You borrowed money from the bank and are legally obligated to pay the loan back.
Hopefully you still have the stub? If you don't maybe you have the receipt. It is possible that the check # may be on that. Either way on the back of the check stub there will be a toll free # and instructions.
The money has to be there from the date you wrote the check until the check cleared (it was cashed). You should always have enough to cover all your checks and fees.

If you have a bank account and are trying to deposit a check, you will have to sign the back of that check. If the back is not signed, it cannot be deposited or cashed.
Call the number on the back of your money order receipt.
they gave it to them in a blank check and the allies cashed whenever they wanted to
Technically, it means that that check cannot be cashed, it can only be deposited into the account listed on the back of the check. (Actually that's not always the case.)
