PO300 code means: Engine misfire detected.
Need to check the distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, But more then likely it needs new plug wires. Get a spray bottle and fill it with water and while the engine is running spray it all over the plug wires, distributor cap and around the spark plugs.
If you notice any change in the engine performance while your spraying water on it.
Whatever you are spraying when you see or hear the engine change is what you need to replace. JUST A LITTLE TRICK OF THE TRADE it might save you some money.
