Petite modeling agencies are few and far in between because there is no demand for them but you can try a shot at commercial/print modeling agencies:
- Angie's Model & Talent Agency
There currently are no petite modeling agencies in the Dallas area. If you are at least 5'5" or an exceptional 5'4" you can look into Dallas modeling agencies that have a commercial/print division.
If you are under 5'7" then you will want to look into commercial/print agencies. The height range is from 5'5"-5'7". Any shorter and you will be looking into petite modeling, which does not have a demand or market so you will have a more difficult time finding a modeling agency with a petite division.
Petite models are often used as parts models (i.e. hands and neck for jewelry modeling, feet for shoe ads, etc.). This kind of modeling is also similar to runway modeling, with designers using petites to showcase their clothing designs. If a company has a product or clothing line that targets petite women, they will also use petite models for photoshoots.
Unfortunately, there is no market demand for male models under 5'10". There is no petite modeling for men, either. The only way to do any type of modeling is through freelance, which means that you work as a model without an agency and act as your own booking agent. There are hardly any modeling agencies that will sign on a 5'7" male, unless you are a teen.
Unfortunately, there is no market demand for male models under 5'10" in the fashion and runway niche. There is no petite modeling for men, either. The only way to do any type of modeling is by submitting to agencies that represent male commercial/print models. This type of modeling is very open to height, age and size. Male models don't necessarily have to be tall like fashion models and can be used for a number of print modeling assignments.
Someone can find pictures of petite girls on a petite girls modeling website. It isn't hard to find. One can also check a social networking website like Tumblr.
At your height you are currently too short to do fashion or commercial/print modeling. Unfortunately, no modeling agency would be able to offer you a contract because you do not meet their height requirements. For fashion you have to be a minimum of 5'8" and for commercial/print the minimum height is 5'5." Unless you happen to grow more, your chances will be greatly decreased. Additionally, you do not have to have large breasts in order to be a model. Small to average bust sizes are ideal. There is the option of petite modeling but this type of modeling is not high in demand and few modeling agencies have petite divisions, which would make finding them difficult.
Not at this time but they do have a commercial/print division, which requires female models to be between 5'5"-5'7".

It varies. Those in the modeling industry consider anyone under 5'7" as being a petite model. But in general petite models are between 5'0-5'7" and have the typical measurements 34-24-34 (bust, waist, hips in inches). They should have a great, toned body, that is on the slimmer side and an attractive face with good bone structure.
