Check the rheostat for the blower motor mounted on the bulk head underneath the wipe arms.(this is the most common failure of the fan motor)
I will be a white 4/5 pin connector,
Check that there is supply to one of the terminals using a test light or meter with the ignition turned on.
If there is join this connection to one of the other connections using a piece of wire and the fan will run at full speed proving that the rheostat is defective.
If you have no power to this plug you will need to check the relevant connections and fuse to the motor mounted behind the glove box.
did your heater switch go out all of a sudden or did some work like high work and low not work? if some worked your blower resister is most likely bad under your glove box
its the blower resistor.
Depends on what you mean by heater will not work. If the blower motor will not work, it can be a blown fuse, bad blower motor, bad blower motor switch, or a defective blower motor resistor pack. If you mean that the blower motor works but there is no heat, then it can be a clogged heater core, thermostat stuck open, or defective heater control valve.
Check the 30 amp Blower fuse. If not that check the fan relay, if not that check the blower motor directly from a jump on the fan itself.
Blower wont work on all 5 speeds, usually the lower speeds tend to go first.
there is a condenser on the heater housing it has 2 bolts holding it into the housing, just below the heater motor, they go bad, i had the same problem on a 95 rodeo.
There might be a bad fuse causing the heater to not work. Check the fuses if they are all ok you may have a bad blower motor. when you turn the heater on and no air is blowing then it is your blower motor.
You most likely will have a bad blower resister........
replace heater relay and or heater blower motor
you have a bad heater core
probably the blower motor resistor
heater blower resistor has to be replaced. you have to remove glove boxthe resistor is to the right of the heater blower moter
