the Tyndall effect
Shine a light through it. If there are particles scattered, then it's a colloid
colloid
The process you describe is quite intimately involved with, and closely related to, the phenomenon of seeing the sun, the moon, the planets, and the stars, on Earth.
transparency is a physical property of matter, and depends entirely on the which element you are taking about.
Yes, the equator passes through GABON.
The Tyndall effect is observed in colloids (solid-gas, solid-liquid, etc.).
Normally yes because colloids are normally semi opaque.
Colloid silver first passes into the stomach, most of it will continue on that path out of the body. Some is absorbed into the blood stream though and able to pass with-out issue.

The particles which passes through semi permeable membrane are called crystalloid. and the particles which doesn't pass through semi permeable membrane are called colloids.
These mixtures are colloids or very fine suspensions.

I am only an eighth grader, but read my answer. So, when the visible light passes through the prim and refracts on it's edges, the beam of light splits into a spectrum and it looks like a rainbow, only because white light is acctually all of the colors of light put together. Hope i helped :) A "Spectrum" is produced. ~ aaarg
