Batteries contain a metal in an electrolyte. A lot of them are lead/sulphuric that can store large numbers of electrons that are the source of electrical current flow in circuits. The battery when shorted has enough current to melt some of the metal with a flash of light. Touch a long screwdriver with an insulated handle across a good car battery and you can ruin the terminals and the screwdriver and you will get sparks. Please really don't do this on purpose. Read what Volta had to say about it.

The corporation of Nintendo created the dsi.
What can detect your DS? Please be more specific. From what I gather, your saying that the Nintendo WiFi USB Connector (WiFi USB) can dtect your DS but not your DS cannot detect 'it'. WiFI USB cannot detect Nintendo DS's unless it is connected to it. So, the Nintendo DS would have to be able to detect the Wifi USB for it to be able to detect the DS. ThE AvEnGeR
