The 1960s were a huge decade for cars. Some of the more popular cars were the Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang, and Dodge Charger. Near the end of the decade with the hippie movement, Volkswagens became increasingly popular.
Cars such as the Mustang, Camero were very popular. Any mid sized 2 door was popular, and 2 door hardtops even more so. The larger the V8 engine the better. 4 door cars, pickups, and compact cars were not popular. The exception was the VW Beetle which was popular.
Many cars, buses and trains in the 1960s looked very futuristic. This was a current trend at the time, as science fiction and the advancement of technology were very popular.
