I had trouble with my manual locks and then I noticed that where you put your key in on the passenger side was not straight up and down, but turned to one side. As soon as I inserted the key and put it straight up and down the locks started working fine.
Key?
you need to check the wiring harness that runs under the passenger side door panel on the floor water gets in and causes a bad connection need to replace the bad splice
There is an electrical problem with the switch or wiring. Have it checked out/
I think you have to push the 'unlock' button twice in order to unlock the doors.
The driver door does not unlock the power locks for a few reasons. This motor could be burned out or the wires could not be attached correctly.
It is behind the back door and have a switch.
no
The door locks are actually controlled by by the Body Control Module (BCM), but there is a main fuse where they get power from. That fuse is under the hood, and I have attached a link that shows the location and function of each of the fuses. Good Luck, Greg
No. the regular power locks unlock the lift gate, and you have to grab the exterior handle to unlatch and open.No. the regular power locks unlock the lift gate, and you have to grab the exterior handle to unlatch and open.
If the locks and rear window hatch on a 1998 Chevy Blazer lock and unlock by themselves, there is probably a problem with the fuse or a short somewhere. The locks are supposed to lock when the vehicle gets put in gear. Perhaps the system that tells the locks when to lock is not working properly.
The switch might be bad or the wire isn't getting the right connection with the battery. Or the wire is just shot in general.
Umm, there are still manual locks. Take your finger and push the lock over and unlock the door. Good Luck!!!!
