You will need to get the code from your nearest Ford dealer - for that, you need the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the engine number! Go to the parts department desk at your dealer and ask for the radio code - the salesman will ask for the VIN - supply that and they will look it up on the computer and write it down for you!

Go to the parts department desk at your dealer and ask for the radio code - the salesman will ask for the VIN - supply that and they will look it up on the computer and write it down for you! Otherwise (and I know this is true for Toyota but it is the last three digits on the VIN), it is the last 4 VIN number digits, eg 1998 for our 1993 ED Fairmont!
For Christ's sake, don't stuff it up! There's only three chances of entering it correctly - exhaust all three and you will need to take the radio out and have it recoded!
