You use the coolent reservoir bottle to fill the radiator. It should fill the rad before it fills the bottle.
In systems that do not have a radiator cap, the coolant is drained by the radiator drain plug. It is filled by adding coolant to the system through the overflow bottle.
If no cap on tank, you have to use reservoir.
To flush a radiator on an Acura RL you will need to make sure the care is level. Remove the radiator cap from the radiator under the hood. Place a bucket under the radiator and remove the radiator plug. This is a white plug located on the bottom of the radiator which may be hidden by the splash guards at the front of the vehicle. After the radiator fluid has been drained replace the white radiator plug. Refill the radiator with coolant and replace the radiator cap.
The cooling system on this vehicle does not use a radiator cap on the radiator but on a remote tank. It may have a different (larger) cap on it than what you are used to seeing on the radiator.
The spring on the bottom of a radiator cap will cause it to fail. If the spring does not work properly it can lead to pressure escaping from the radiator which can overheat the vehicle.
With the vehicle cold, locate the drain cock on the bottom of the radiator which is a T-shaped bolt. Remove the radiator cap and loosen the drain cock. Tighten the drain cock and refill with half coolant and half water then run it and keep filling the radiator.
To change coolant on a Toyota Corolla, place a bucket under the radiator. Open the radiator drain valve and remove the radiator cap. When all antifreeze drains out, close the drain valve. Then refill with fresh antifreeze and replace the radiator cap.
Top of the radiator. Typically, it'll be on the right (passenger) side of the vehicle.
Bring your vehicle to a garage is what I would do so you can let it thaw and refill it with antifreeze because there must be water in the radiator
You have to fill the overflow tank as the radiator does not have a fill cap. Run the engine as you fill the overflow tank but just up to the marks on the tank.
Go to the parts store and tell them what year vehicle you have and the make and engine size and they will have the proper radiator cap for you.
Remove the radiator cap on the top dead center on the radiator.Plain and simple there is also a coolant reservoir that is located on the driver side very close to the headlight.Just follow the rubber hose from the top of the radiator to it.Make sure the level is between the low and full level.Be carefull not to uncap the radiator while hot,it has alot of pressure on it if the vehicle has been running.Do this if the vehicle has sat for awhile and the radiator feels warm not hot.
