did you check to make sure the electric fan(s) are properly coming on? They are famous for the relay losing contact. hope this helps......................Mike
Check the timing.
it can..rain has NOTHING to do with your radiator or the thermostat
Car overheats, your heat in your car stops working
check your fluids it is probably low on antifreeze and if it still does it change your thermostat that should fix the problem
check the water level, if its okay then you probably need a thermostat
Be sure the thermostat is not installed backwards.
Take your thermostat out and put everything back together, run your car without a thermostat... If your car no longer overheats, replace your thermostat.
The heater cor was replaced but it is still not getting warm
Car overheats or can't reached the normal temperature.
Here are a couple possibilities. Thermostat in backwards(spring goes toward engine),plugged radiator, radiator hose collapsing, bad head gasket. Hope this helps
Generally, if your car overheats with the proper level of antifreeze, either your water pump has gone bad (not circulating fluid), the thermostat is stuck, or your radiator is clogged up inside. -NAPAman
My 1994 Suzuki Intruder 800 (VS800G) just went in to the shop to have the water pump replaced. Yes, it was a water pump and a thermostat. It also has a fan, fan switch or relay and a temp. sensor for the fan. It has everything a car has.
