You need to remove the Rh lower insulator panel, this is the panel with the courtesy lamp. remove the push pin retainers to the panel, then un clip the courtesy lamp from the panel, then remove panel. Remove blower motor connector, remove 3- 5.5mm screws, then lower and remove the blower motor..
Need to know how to remove heater fan on 1999 ford e 150 van with small v6 engine
the heater blows warm air when fan is on low but blows cold air when fan is turn to higher setting
Passenger side firewall
try replacing the blower motor resistor
heater resister is bad
To replace the heater fan on a 1999 Chevy Tracker, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the passenger side dashboard panel to access the heater assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector from the heater fan, then unbolt the fan motor from its housing. Replace the old fan with the new one, reattach the bolts and connector, and reassemble the dashboard panel before reconnecting the battery.
Why are you replacing the switch? If the fan works only on high speed, replace the fan resistor. There was a TSB for this.
The reason a heater fan is staying on may be an issue with the switch. It is possible the switch is stuck open. It may be resolved with a good cleaning of the contacts on the switch, or replacing the switch itself.
If the heater fan is not blowing on a 2001 Chevy S10 Pickup, it is possible that the fuse needs replacing. It is also possible that debris is interfering with the operation of the fan. Could also be, a faulty fan motor, a faulty fan motor speed resistor, a faulty fan motor switch,
check fuse , fuses located under dash left of steering column. second check heater fan switch finally the fan motor located under hood passenger side
Under hood fuse panel box. It is labled "Cooling Fan". To easily check it,swap it out with the "heater blower fan" relay and see if the heater blower works. Both relay's are made the same.
Using a wire diagram for a '70 Corvette, check continuity between wire terminations. It's most likely a bad connection somewhere, be it a wire or a terminal. Hope that helps!-ku2002
