How to get another safelink phone if it is lost?

I lost my phone and called this number, I was connected with an agent right away, they deactivated my missing phone and the one time courtesy replacement is on the way. According to the policy it will be a refurbished phone and according to the agent I can keep my number.

Safelink is a Tracfone service and uses the AT&T GSM network. You can go to the Tracfone website and enter your zip code which brings up all the available Tracfones that are compatible with Safelink. Once you have the phone, call Safelink to transfer your service and remaining minutes. Of course, you can always call Safelink as well and wait for a replacement phone. Personally, I have the LG800 feature phone which is as close to a Smartphone as Tracfone offers for now. Be sure you choose a Tracfone phone and not one that is sold by their affiliate Straight Talk or Net 10. Neither one will work with Safelink. Hope that answers your question.

You need to know:

• Only provides one free replacement per customer
• Only 10 minutes of lost airtime will be replaced
• Replacement phones are refurbished
• If your lost phone was your replacement phone, the next phone will be full cost
• The old phone will be permanently deactivated

Good luck. Ive been reporting mine stolen for over a year. Yet they send me monthly usage statements and are always reminding me to use my service so I don't lose it. Problem is, the person that stole it is using it, not me. I told the kids mom that he stole my phone, she did nothing. But then shes also cool with kicking her 12 year old son out at all hours and starving him for not putting a cup in the dishwasher, cuz you know, that gets in the way of her vodka. So she kicks him out in the dead of winter with no food, no coat and then calls the police on me to say I am stealing her child. After the 45 minutes it takes for her to spit a sentenceout, the police side with me and call DCS yet she always talks her way out of it. AND iM STILL WITHOUT A PHONE, SO YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE FULL 2 YEARS AREUP. IM SORRY

Report it to your service provider - and the police. That will insure you - against someone else running up costs (assuming they cab access your phone).
