I work for another government agency, the United States Border Patrol, and we are GS-11's. I believe that a special agent for the DEA can work his/her way up to a GS-13 rank noncompetitively. By using the amount we are paid one could extrapolate that that would equate to approximately $90,000.00 a year, give or take, before taxes. It's hard to give a 100% accurate response without being with the DEA. There are differences of course. They get LEAP (Law Enforcement Availability Pay) and we get AUO (Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime), but I think that the number that I provided is probably accurate.

A Dea officer may only initially make $37,309 and $41,612 depending on qualifications and education. Depending on those factors the salary could be higher.
