Scientific reason why you will not cut your fingernails at night?

It's peoples culture. My parents tell me the same, they believe that the devil has something to do with it and that their elders have passed it on for generations. They say that after dark never to cut your nails, nor to leave them on the floor/step on them or mistreat them. By the way they are from Albania, but there are many cultures that believe in this. Not sure what happens after though, but I believe it's bad luck.

∙ 13y agoWell its been quiet a tradition in India that cutting nails in night is forbidden things have changed as time passes by and we cant belong to the old generation, we are blessed with electricity 24 hours of the day and dont live in villages or small towns.
Its been a while since we became civilized and cut the nails when we have time instead of listening to the oldies who really dont have valid reasons & insist on myths & expect us to follow. This is for sure not a custom but a myth which needs to be changed. We have to stay clean and healthy so plz cut your nails rather than allowing the bacterias to feast on it.

∙ 13y agoThis is because , (Maybe) In earlier times there were no electricity in houses so cutting your nails at night may hurt you (Due to low light) So To Scare people ""they"" add this belief
